Pang Ming alias Pang Heming, was born in September Dr Pang was influenced by the practice of traditional Chinese medicine particularly acupuncture , qigong and martial arts since very young. He graduated fromBeijingMedicalCollegein and practised Western medicine after that. Subsequently he practised Chinese medicine. While studying Chinese medicine he started his research into qigong. At the beginning, he studied Buddhism and practised Buddhist-qigong. From onwards he increased his training in martial arts. From onwards he followed the teachings of various grand masters of Daoist and civilian qigong and researched into the various Daoist texts on qigong.
His intention was to support particularly people who aim to develop and uplift their own health and well-being. Pang Ming himself started to practice Tai Chi and Qigong at the age of 6. He was one of the first to combine the old Chinese tradition with the modern science of medicine. In fact since the late 70s he is a pioneer in creating the new Qigong science. He was the founder and president of different scientific institutions, which focused on the research of impact and effects of Qigong. In he founded the Beijing Qigong Association and initiated the first national convention on Qigong. He was the first Qigong Master who broke with the tradition and started to share the power of Qigong with a broader mass of people. Pang has done a lot of pioneering work in many areas. A particular achievement was to describe the systematic Qigong theory in a well-founded manner and to undermine it with scientific research and studies.

Pang Ming is a Qigong scholar, has a wide range of knowledge, be rigorous and factualistic, he is the pioneer of Qigong Science. The theories accomplishment of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine established the foundation for his assiduously study of qigong books, but the deepening of qigong attainments created the condition for his improvement of medicinal diagnosis and treat technology, they promote each other, cured many difficult, heavy diseases in clinical practice. In February , Mr. Pang Ming was present at the whole national Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine combination meeting organized by Ministry of Health, ever partake to organize the first whole national qigong report in July , the same year, launched and established the first masses qigong scholarism organization-Beijing Qigong Research Institution in China. From the middle of s to the begining of s, he studied intensively the classics of Marxism systematically, read through the collected works of Marx, Engels, Lenin, Mao Zedong, firmed the scientific world outlook and methodology. All this built the strong, rich foundation of theory and practice for the establishment of Zhineng Qigong Science. At the begining of s, Mr. Pang Ming was audacious reforming traditional qigong, established Zhineng Qigong, and promulgated its theories and methods to the world.
He was part of a big extended family that included practitioners of Daoist and folk qigong. There was early recognition that he was not an ordinary child. This enabled Pang to understand and learn very quickly and deeply, which was important for his studies and later work. Beginning in childhood, Dr. Pang learnt from traditional qigong and martial arts Masters and rapidly absorbed the essentials of their teachings. He studied under nineteen Masters, some of whom sought him out to pass on their knowledge. Pang Ming has great depth of knowledge and works with rigour, precision and pragmatism. He is the founder of qigong science. In his youth Dr. Pang learnt and was nourished by qigong, traditional Chinese medicine TCM and the martial arts.
